When you drive, chances are good you’ll be involved in an accident, or your vehicle will breakdown, at one time or another.
Knowing this, then, it just makes sense to prepare for the possibility and know the proper procedures to follow. Standing on the side of a deserted road with a nail in your tire is not the time to wonder what to do. Nor is it a great time to google what to do when you’re surrounded by damaged vehicles after a fender bender.
When driving is part of your employment, it makes even more sense to be prepared to respond how your company has trained you to.
Taking the time now to:
- Prepare your vehicle for different types of roadway emergencies,
- Learn best practices for when you have an accident, and
- Understand the importance of responding correctly to other drivers, bystanders, and law enforcement…
...will help you cope if you ever have an accident or breakdown.
